Message from the President

From its founding, Hillsdale College has offered the kind of education that preserves the blessings of liberty.  Our John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center extends this mission by teaching both the shooting sports and the foundational principles of the Constitution and the Second Amendment.

In recent years, we have formed a partnership with USA Shooting.  USA Shooting has as its mission to prepare American athletes to compete in the Olympics and to promote the shooting sports generally—a mission in perfect harmony with that of our Halter Center.  The Hillsdale-USA Shooting partnership will allow our student-athletes to practice alongside Olympic-quality shooters, and it will afford America’s top shooters access to Hillsdale’s educational programs on the Constitution and its importance to liberty.
