Matthew Grunzweig

Matthew joined the shotgun team in 2015 as a true freshman. In that first season, he led the team in sporting clays at the Fall SCTP Collegiate National Championship. Prior to attending Hillsdale, he was an NSCA All-American and won the Michigan junior state title in 2015.

2017/2018

2016/2017

  • Shot a 99 out of 100 at the Michigan Fall Team Shoot to lead the team in American trap
  • Finished the year strong at the 2017 ACUI Collegiate National Championship with an amazing performance
  • Guided the team in American Skeet with a 99
  • Shot scores of 48 and 93 in 5-stand and sporting clays, respectively
  • Was named to the ACUI/NRA All-American Team for his first time with his 5th place overall individual finish
  • An enormous improvement over his first year

2015/2016

  • Joined the shotgun team as a true freshman
  • Led the team in sporting clays at the Fall SCTP Collegiate National Championship
  • Showed great progress as a developing all-around shooter
  • Competed for the Detroit Catholic Central shotgun-shooting club for 4 years
  • One of Michigan’s highest ranked junior sporting clays competitors
