Support

Your support today is an investment in the future of the shooting sports.

The generous support of donors has helped the John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center become one of the country’s premier shooting sports facilities. However, continued support from corporations and individuals can help the range grow as resource for Hillsdale students and individuals across the country.
Whether you are interested in donating money, time, supplies, or equipment, your gift will be used to develop the next generation of shooting sports enthusiasts and teach them to have a deep respect for their constitutional rights.

Giving

Every gift, no matter how large or small, will help fund the Halter Center’s operations and build future facilities. Whether you are looking to donate money, supplies, or equipment, gifts are eligible for a tax deduction. But more importantly, your support helps expose a new generation to the shooting sports and build a more personal connection to the rights provided by the Second Amendment.

MidwayUSA Foundation

We want youth interested in shooting sports to have the same opportunities as those in other sports.

The MidwayUSA Foundation was established in 2007 to provide sustainable funding to youth shooting sports teams across the nation.  Shooting teams provide wonderful opportunities for students to make friends, to develop confidence, and learn discipline and leadership skills, just like other sports. However, most schools provide little or no funding for shooting teams.  Founders, Larry, and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA, had the vision to offer youth interested in shooting sports the same opportunities as those in more traditional team sports.

Today, the MidwayUSA Foundation uses five programs to help fund youth shooting sports.  The Team Endowment Program is the main program, which funds nearly 2,800 youth shooting teams.  Each shooting team has its own earmarked endowment which the team can grow through donations and fundraisers.  Every year, teams with a balance are eligible to receive 5% of the balance through a cash grant.  This cash provides funds for vital expenses every shooting team incurs.  We are…changing the future of youth shooting sports.
